THE ONE THEY CALL UNUSUAL: GREEN LANTERN CONCLUSION

Note: this is a follow-up to The One They Call Unusual's first post here about Green Lantern candidates. It's worth noting it was NONE of the possible candidates he highlighted. This would be funny but no-one really predicted Reynolds till he was actually shortlisted. Now let's move onto his follow-up post.

RYAN REYNOLDS IS HAL JORDAN


This of course is a brillant idea. However, my ideas are different to a real fanboy or fan of the Lantern.

You see, I like Reynold's cockiness, and I also enjoy the fact that he can do both comedy, pathos and jackassery, but does it do well for the character? I post this to ask this editor what he feels to write into this article.

With me, I think he is great although the potential Deadpool film might be affected by this. Ah well, we need an entertaining superhero film that is actually like the popcorn films of yore and not dark and brooding or just explosions with added sexism.

Flip-The-Page-View: As a fan I still don't really get the choice. He's not Hal Jordan-like in any way. To his advantage he's a good actor so who knows what the dude will pull. Could do with a more chiselled-jaw type though.
